The character of Damansara Heights
Bukit Damansara — Damansara Heights to most people — is a low-density enclave of bungalows and semi-detached homes on mature, tree-lined roads, sitting on a ridge barely five kilometres from the KL city centre. Land here is almost all freehold with individual title, lots run from 6,000 to 15,000 sq ft, and much of the stock is 1970s and 1980s housing that has been rebuilt at least once. Turnover is low, which is the point: buyers arrive for the address, the privacy and the twelve-minute run into the CBD, and they tend to stay. The Pusat Bandar Damansara redevelopment has added modern office and retail at the eastern edge without changing the residential character.
