The character of Puchong
Puchong grew from tin land into one of Selangor's largest residential townships, and it still offers some of the best value landed housing within a thirty-minute drive of Kuala Lumpur. Bandar Puteri, Bandar Puchong Jaya and Puchong Perdana carry the bulk of the terrace stock, much of it gated and guarded, while Taman Perindustrian Puchong and the Kinrara industrial areas give the district a working commercial and light-industrial base. The LRT Sri Petaling Line extension put six stations through the township, which pulled apartment demand toward the station catchments and left the deeper interior dependent on the LDP.
